The third and final Learning, Teaching and Training activity (LTT3) was hosted by Grunnskóli Húnaþings vestra in Hvammstangi, Iceland. The week combined international collaboration, game-based learning and Icelandic field trips to test and refine the project's materials.
Participants took part in:
- A Climate Summit role-play and a climate "Treasure Hunt"
- Sustainability workshops and creative projects led by each national team
- Field trips to the Blönduvirkjun hydropower plant, Kolugljúfur canyon and the Vatnsnes seal coast
- A biodiversity seminar, youth panel and student poster presentations
Evaluation surveys showed a clear rise in students' understanding of climate change and their motivation to act — and the week mapped neatly onto UN Sustainable Development Goals 4, 12, 13 and 17.
