The Climate Challenge Adventure (CCA) project has officially begun. At the kick-off meeting hosted by The Icelandic Seal Centre in Hvammstangi, all six partner organisations came together to launch two years of work on climate and sustainability education.
The partnership brings together schools and education organisations from five countries: Iceland (The Icelandic Seal Centre and Grunnskóli Húnaþings vestra), Germany (SCHWERPUNKT Zentrum), Spain (Formación Academia Barcelona), Türkiye (Özel Balıkesir Bilnet Ortaokulu) and Denmark (Mariagerfjord Gymnasium).
Our shared goal is to help secondary-school students understand climate change and sustainability through interactive, gamified learning — and to give teachers innovative, ready-to-use materials. Over the coming months the partnership will produce research, a multilingual materials archive, a classroom-tested library and this web & mobile platform.
